The lichen on this rock is quite amazing...it almost looks painted on.
It took four people to span the circumference of this oldgrowth tree.

Camp Creek has carved a large, steep cutbank into the side of this hill.
Delicate little plants cover the ground all around where we stopped for lunch. In amongst the taller grass, one may never notice them had we not stopped here.

I love the way the wind shapes the trees here...almost any piece of dead wood is a masterpiece.
